APPLE CEO DISPUTES REPORT OF CHINESE WORKER MISTREATMENT

The CEO of Apple is reacting strongly to a report about bad conditions for workers at factories in China. The “Los Angeles Times’” account included details about allegedly unsafe conditions and forced overtime. Tim Cook tells employees of the California company that any suggestion that the company doesn't care "about every worker in our supply chain" is false and offensive. The executive says he was "enraged" at the reports and says conditions have been improved for many employees.
